Can I take nac and glutathione together.

My md wants me on glutathione and I forgot to ask him this. Does anyone know if its okay?

It won't hurt. I doubt if it will help much either though. NAC raises glutathione levels in cells and is far better absorbed than glutathione.

I use a transdermal, compounded glutathione cream as well as NAC.  Honestly can't say that I've noticed the glutathione cream has helped. I am also to start nebulizing glutathione, picking up the script on tomorrow. (This is an attempt at my continued  lung/breathing issues.....)

Glutathione Complex is much more effective than straight glutathione because it's better absorbed.

It has a beneficial effect for me.

After several months of increased hair loss as soon as I started it, now back to normal.

Just to impress you all, my latest treatment is really making a difference. I've been able tentatively to start socialising again after about 10 years of isolation due to fatigue. What a joy!

What is your latest treatment?

DAILY:  NAC 2400MG , DHEA sublingual , vit D3 , multi vits,./ Three times  a week: B12 injections (Hydroxycobalamin). Deer antler./  Once every few months methyl B12 Methyl injections

Thats great Clare. What treatment are you doing? The glutathione is liquid and pharmaceutical grade and tastes horrible.

200mg doxy daily, 500 zithromax mwf,flagyl 1000 m-fri.rifampin 2x daily,chloestryramine 2x daily

The answers about her treatment are contained in Hopeful's (Clare's) personal statement. Just click on her screen name and you can read it. That is where I list mine, as well.

Hi Lee,

Not sure if this is any use to you in the States, but others could benefit.

I buy Lamberts L-Glutathione Complex in capsules from Nutri Centre in London UK.

[Don't confuse with Tesco NutriCentre]

As I had what used to be called ME, on first ordering several years ago, I had to quote  "ME superloop group code....." can't remember the number but it doesn't matter, for 20% discount. Just tell them you have CFS or similar. I'm assuming they still have this in place for new customers.

Best of luck in finding capsules where you are.
