Complicated. In April still not able to do complete protocol, extremely tired and not feeling good at all despite lots of charcoal and other remedies. Was feeling very low. Stopped Roxi, on Doxyi only for a while. Got more and more depressed. Stopped Doxy and within a week depression was gone. Thought I would give my body a break with antibioticsi but after a little more than week I got back so many upper respiratory infection symtoms, that i started again. Right now I am on Azithro only and did a Metroi-pulse two weeks ago.

Roxithromycin full dose great problem
Submitted by Odhilda on Sat, 2008-08-30 19:24.When I wrote six moths ago and requested some cheering up, I had recently increased from 100 doxyi+ 300Roxy to 200doxy +300Roxy.
I really didn't know when I started the CAPi that it was possible to sneak in the Roxi with 150mg in the beginning.
I read much later words like "lowest clinical dose" which is 100 for Doxy and 150 for Roxi if I remember right what Sarah wrote somewhere. So to be on the safe side I followed the Wheldon protocol exactly.
(I really depend on having all important information in the cpni-handbook since I rarely have the energy to read ongoing questions and comments on this site. So thank you all that are working with the handbook and basic information!)
Would like some cheering
Submitted by Odhilda on Tue, 2008-02-19 06:22.Those of you who has the energy to do so, please help me with some pep talk.
Now I really need it and I would really appreciate it.
Next month (20 March 2008) it will be six months on antibioticsi for me, and I really hope I will start to feel at least some improvement soon.
So far I am feeling worse than before I started NACi and antibiotics. (Started NAC in may-june 2007)
In the summer 2007 I read the whole cpni handbook and did some other reading just for fun (ok it was not easily done but I could do it) but now my brain has been to foggy to read , for a long long time. I can manage a page or to, not more.
I have a constant low energy and haven't been able to do anything that would "lift my spirit" for a long time.
What would you do?
Submitted by Odhilda on Mon, 2007-12-03 14:06.I don't know if you have seen my forum topic "Roxithromycin questions" but the thing is i am feeling so lousy so I need to lower the burden on my body somehow.
Yes, yes, I should have waited with the Roxi, being on Doxyi+NACi for a couple of months more, but it's to late to realize that now. I simply didn't Iexpect I would feel so bad that I wouldn't be able to handle it.
Not being able to handle means: I can feel like this for a couple of days, maybe a week but not more because then I would need a butler and a maid to make things work at home so I could stay in bed being lousy, because that is all I am capable of(and taking a shower and eating if someone brings the food).
100 Doxy and 150x2 Roxy better then 200 Doxy only?
Submitted by Odhilda on Sun, 2007-11-18 14:35.Azithromycin side effects or die-off?
Submitted by Odhilda on Tue, 2007-11-13 06:41.Introduced Azithromycin 11 Oktober. From that date to 11 November I have taken totally 12 tablets of 250 mg Azithromycin. When days between tablets are getting to many (3-4) I get increased symtoms from my nose, sore throat, pain in ears. Taking a Azithro makes all that go away, nose still congested but less, and no sneezing and no yellow coming out when blowing my nose. And that is good I think.
But. I have been so extremely fatiqued and foggy. No energy , especialy no mental energy. Almost like a depression but still not. More like apathy, problems to start doing things that have to be done, problems with wanting to do things. And still having my usuall problems to sleep properly.
Trying to put a picture in my blog
Submitted by Odhilda on Sat, 2007-10-13 06:20.Thinking of starting the Azithromycin
Submitted by Odhilda on Wed, 2007-10-10 07:58.I have been taking the Doxyi (100mg) for 20 days now and nothing new is happening. Most symptoms are fading (no fever, less back pain). But my thinking is still sluggish I have problems with taking in information and I feel like I am in a glass bubble but I don't know if I should be waiting before that resolves because I am not sure if it will resolve before I am completely done with fighting the bugs.
These last weeks
Submitted by Odhilda on Mon, 2007-10-01 04:53.I have had great trouble processing information, especially written scientific information. This and fatigue were the first symptoms when I got ill in spring 1992. I just couldn't get into my head what I was reading I couldn't watch tv and I did't understand what people were saying when talking to me. (I have noticed that very interesting information from Daisy, but just haven't been able to read it properly and understand it.)
B12 and MS again
Submitted by Odhilda on Mon, 2007-09-10 06:51.I can’t stop wondering if some people need much more B12 than the recommendation in the cpnhandbook
NAC is fantastic!
Submitted by Odhilda on Mon, 2007-09-03 18:25.It's 54 minutes past midnight and I can't sleep. This week my reaction to NACi changed. Yesterday I got very increased pulse and blood pressure for the rest of the day. C-vitamin helped a little.
Today I took approximately 3ml calciumascorbate(powder) and 1ml magnesiumascorbate(powder) in a big glass of water together with the 500 mg NAC capsule. After 30- 45 minutes my heart started to pound why I took another glass of the same mixture. And it helped! Pounding stopped and blood-pressure didn't rise to yesterday's uncomfortable levels.
B12, before I continue
Submitted by Odhilda on Thu, 2007-08-30 11:00.Before I continue maybe I should say that biochemistry is not really “my cup of tea”. I dive in to it only beacause I have to, if I want to understand certain things that I want to understand, like why B12 is so important and why it can cause so many different symptoms if it’s absent in the cells, and why some people need so high and frequent doses to feel the effect of a B12 treatment..
I also feel that if I have information that helped me very much, it would be wrong to keep it for myself .
B12-basics
Submitted by Odhilda on Sun, 2007-08-26 14:21.The information below, is collected mainly from my B12-doc. and an information booklet for physicians he gave me: “B12 in new light” written by Christina Bollander-Gouaille in 1997, my biochemistry book by Stryer 1988 and some sources found on internet. I would like it to be an overview that may make it easier to study B12 further. Please let me know if you find any errors or things that don’t seem right.
Christina Bollander-Gouaille has written articles and two books on the subject:”Focus on Homocysteinei and the Vitaminsi Involved in Its Metabolism” 2001 and “Homocysteine Related Vitamins and Neuropsychiatric Disorders” (By Téodoro Bottiglieri, Christina Bollander-Gouaille) in 2003. I haven’t read them in fact I recently discovered they exist .
