I am still doing the NACi. For about 6 months I'd been taking it off and on with no trouble. However, Oct 8th I began to take 600mg every morning without food. I became miserable. Increased depression. Myalgia arms, back hitting strong... Arthralgia - Lt hip, Rt knee. Nausea at times. Stopped it Oct 25.
Oct 28th decided to try smaller dose. Took about 150-200 each morning. Still symptoms above but decreased frequency and intensity. Keeping at that dose for now.
At this rate it will take a long time to get to 1200mg/day which I think is the recommended dose before starting antibioticsi. I believe Paul Jaminet did the doxyi first. But I have some problems first... I don't have a doctor to prescribe them. I see one recommended and hour away but do not know if she does this protocol. She will consult with other docs so that's encouraging.
The other thing holding me back is that we are leaving this area at the end of the month. So, do I get started before I go? Will I be high enough with the NAC to start any doxy... I will probably not be settled in one place for a year or so.
Anybody have some ideas to help? I want to go slow but if I don't start before we leave it will be put off for several months. I'm not progressing rapidly but I'm 67! I've had FMSi/CE for about 30 years. I have gotten myself out of bed. Was bedridden in 94... Supplementsi, gentle exercise.... Got to go now.
I'm not sure what category to use for my post so GFAi sounds right.
