Autoimmunity Heat Shock Protein 60 CPn Infection LINKED

The whole article, Autoimmunity to Human Heat Shock Protein 60, Chlamydia pneumoniae Infection, and Inflammation in Predicting Coronary

http://atvb.ahajournals.org/cgi/reprint/22/3/431.pdf

This is not a new article and my thanks to Marie who previously posted the abstract to this ... to which no one replied.  I'm not looking to point fingers.  I'm reposting this because I think it's important.  It rang alot of bells with me.

1) Cariology is way ahead of Neurology in figuring out what CPn does.

2) CPn has been linked to autoimmunity

Please explain to me why no one seems to be working on Heat Shock Protein, or am I missing something?  This article says to me that it's possible that everyone is right.  MS could be an autoimmune AND bacterial pathology.   Is this sort of thing unimportant?  Ken

I was looking for a lab that tests for HSP 60 and could not find one.  If anyone knows let me know.  I have tested for HSP 70 (Quest Labs) linked to tinnitus and it was negative.

Ken, nobody made any comment on Marie's original posting because it is a handbook page.   During the updgrade I think some pages lost their "no comments allowed" status.   Handbook pages should be read only material.
