"antibody not detected"

I have many symptoms and reasons to believe I am suffering from a cpn infection. I took the Quest blood test for C. Pneumoniae IGG, IGA, IGM. and the results were "antibody not detected".

Is it possible to still have a cpn infection with this result?

I tried NAC and had the classic "NAC flu" and expected symptoms.

Thanks very much.

False negatives happen a lot. I would treat empirically, based on the NAC results. Actually, I DID treat empirically! ;-)

Often, after starting treatment and forcing some of this crud out of your cells, an antibody test will then show positive...
