Antibiotic Therapy

I know that MS makes you stupid, but I can't access Wheldon or Stratton or anybody to point me in the right direction.  I live in Sydney and have SPMS.  After the recent Catalyst program, my GP and I came up with the following protocol: Minocycline 50mg twice a day, Axithromycin 250mg three time a week, Metronidazole 400mg three times a day. This is the blind leading the blind and I really want to talk to / consult Wheldon, Stratton or, preferably, a Sydney expert.

I will grateful for any contacts.

Thank you

Hi I too live in Sydney and I think if you get your Dr to ring my Dr Paul Thibault he will fax or email him he's  program for Wheldon. It is easy to use and you already have your Dr to issue the scripts. I started last Sept so if you have any worries just blog me.

good luck Wendy

KissGuys, this isn''t Facebook.  Unless you really want every nuance of your personal  life to be public knowledge and posted on the public internet forever, you might want to take those little residential details and personal arrangements to private messaging.

I know this sounds harsh, but more and more people are signing on here using their real names and are coupling that with their real home locations and very intimate details of their medical and personal history.  As long as you're sure that's what you want to be doing....

WinkYou've already 'accessed' Dr. Wheldon; he posts here under DW.  Here is a link to  his page on how to undertake the treatment protocol. http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/ms-treatment1.html

You should not be taking all three abx so soon.  Lay off the metronidazole until you are well under way with mino and azith.  Too much kill-off of bacteria at once could hurt you.  No drama here; it could HURT you and set you back in a big way.

My program was 200mg/day of doxycycline, 250mg of azithromycin each monday, wednesday and friday. Five days out of each month, I added in 1500 mg/day of metronidazole. Plus, all the supps, every day, including 2400mg/day of NAC.
