Adding LDN?

Body

Hello,I've had my cPn bloodwork done and officially show positive for cPn - finally an answer.  I am currently starting out on 200mg Doxy daily and also will start 600 NAC. My question is related to also starting taking LDN? Do I include that in my arsenal of treatment or do I just stick with the Doxy and NAC for now.Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Ldn isn't part of the protocol. Some people use it, with varying degrees of success.  My doctor swears by it, but I've never used it.

Thank you! I have taken LDN in the past over a year ago and had a fairly good experience with it. Stopped because I started a CRAB drug and I was not able to take the LDN any longer. I am no longer on that drug - I am on Tysabri now currently which has stablized my insane relapses. I would love to not be on it which is why I am doing the CAP, but for now it's the only thing that is keeping me from getting more relapses (which I was getting nearly every 3-4 weeks - it was awful!). I did discuss being on Doxy with my neuro while I am on Tysabri, and I was told that it's totally fine.I was considering going back on LDN eventually, but the more I think about it, I want to keep things simple for now and not have too many confounding factors so that I know what's working for me and/or causing side effects. So, 200mg Doxy, 600 NAC, 5000-10000 iu Vit D3, probiotics, 200mg coQ10, 250mg Magnesium, and multivitamin are all I am on for now.Keeping my fingers crossed that things go well with the CAP! Especially since I now know that I show positive CPn in my bloodwork.  I feel like I've done it all - Copaxone, Avonex, Gilenya, 2 CCSVI procedures, and autologous stem cell transplantion on Oct 1. Good grief! I just keep fighting this damn disease with everything I've got!

If it were me I would add the LDN back in.  No harm in it.  Was really a good add in for me.  So I vote you add it back in. I have been on it for the past 4 years.   Louise

__________Mother has probable Cpn infection, may also have Lyme Disease. Not on CAP yet.

Tysabri  Lots of opinions on that one here. Look around the website for those comments.I'd replace that stuff it with LDN personally.  Particularly since you enjoyed taking LDNt previously with good results did you say?  Hm.....
