Hello, and here is my latest treatment update.

Some of us have multiple complex variences to bacteria and virusus. I fount that I am one of the complex patients. I was not responding well to the treatment any more and the more antibiotics I would try to take  the more side effects and set backs.

I decided to fly out to California to see Dr. Powell for his assessment and treatment help. This doctor is amazing to say the least. My husband and I left their with a sence of hope and healing. Here is some of the information I learned about cap treatment.

The diffrence in many patients could be a underlying metal toxicity that makes the antibiots not as effective and can even make the patient more ill. I did the urine test and found I am off the charts for lead and mercury. My digestive system was weak and unable to help ward of the toxins for proper detoxification. Some people with low NK cells  could carry up to 40-50 differenrt viruses. His answer is to build up the intestines and the natural Killer cell function.

My treatment as follows:

Restore the intestine with digestive enzmes, bile, probiotics, food allergies.

Titrate my vitamin D levels to fight infections and bacteria,, before antibiotics.

Kill unwanted bacteria left in the gut that is not digesting well and producing more bacteria. (yuck)

Get rid of all yeast as it too can cause more toxins to enter the blood stream.

Start on OSR to remove toxic metals.

Now I can give a good treatment update as they come.

That is all for now.    Bonnie

These infections sequester in the liver. One good theory is that we are not able to detoxify metals because of this. That would mean that you would have to get rid of the infection before metals could be properly eliminated. I look forward to seeing how you do with Dr. Powell's treatment. How was the vasculitis diagnosed in april of 09?
CAP since 11/06 for Cpn, Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, Myco P, CMV, HHV-6 infections. Rifampin 600mg daily, Zithromax 500mg daily. NAC 2250mg daily. All other supplements. Now Bicillin LA 2.4 mil injection weekly.

Bonnie, wonderful that you got in to Dr. P!  What has he started you on?  Has he backed you off the ABX for a while?
